​Senior Information Architect / UX Analyst
We’re hiring a senior information architect/user experience analyst to work in our Edmonton office. The ideal candidate will be strategically minded, passionate about understanding user needs and translating those needs into digital experiences that are well-planned and engaging. Job Duties:

  • ​Collaborate with clients and other team members to plan, conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research. Typical research methods include surveys, usability tests and interviews
  • ​Analyze website or intranet content to create inventories, audits, content models and metadata schema
  • Facilitate workshops with clients to gather requirements and gain consensus on project approach
  • Work with web analytics tools to gather insights about user behaviour on large websites and intranets
  • Develop site maps, metadata and labelling schemes for large websites, intranets and document repositories
  • Collaborate with UX designers on navigation and interface design
  • Collaborate with developers on solution development

 

Ideal Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years working as an information architect, content strategist, UX designer, business analyst, or related job, with a focus on large websites, intranets, and/or mobile apps
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field
  • Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and analysis techniques
  • An interest in working on complex problems that cover web, mobile and sometimes physical experiences
  • General understanding of user experience design process and methodologies
  • Fluent in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, WebTrends, and others
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with clients and team mates
  • A curious mind and a questioning disposition
  • Able to travel occasionally
